The challenge

Perkbox wanted a way of increasing uptake of companies with large offer bases by providing a frictionless way for customers to get rewarded. Perkbox wanted to leverage existing local SMEs that were unable to offer affiliate-based rewards a way to submit offers to the vast Perkbox member base.

Perkbox needed an easy way to track purchases at any merchant location, ranging from local coffee shops to well-known high street retailers such as Debenhams or Starbucks.

Perkbox was able to setup an innovative messenger bot whereby users can link their card through Fidel’s SDK.

The solution

Fidel, using its simple merchant enrolment process, was able to onboard all of Perkbox's local SME merchants using existing location data. Meanwhile, Perkbox set up an innovative Facebook Messenger bot, whereby users can link their card through Fidel's SDK.

The result is Perkbox members earning rewards from less mainstream locations such as local coffee shops or the latest street food merchants in London. No need for QR codes, no fuss!
